Working in Columbia Falls
Columbia Falls sits between Whitefish and the west entrance to Glacier, and the housing reflects that split — long-time local homes in and around town, plus a steady run of newer builds and second homes going up as the corridor toward the park fills in.
We work the whole range there: kitchen and bath remodels on established homes, decks and outdoor living built for the view, additions, and ground-up construction on lots outside town. It's a ten-minute run from our home base, which is about as close as our service area gets.
What we see most here
Columbia Falls lots often have something worth looking at. We plan railings and seating around the sightline rather than blocking it, and frame for the snow load this end of the valley actually gets.
Places near the Glacier corridor that need to hold up to heavy turnover — durable flooring, finishes that clean easily, and bathrooms built to take constant use.
Homes near the town core that haven't been updated in decades. Usually a question of layout and systems before it's a question of finishes.
Ground-up construction on lots outside town, where site prep, drainage, and access matter as much as the house itself.
