Working in Kalispell
Kalispell is the biggest town in the valley and it shows in the range of work — established neighborhoods near the old core with homes from the forties through the seventies, mid-century ranches on the east side, and newer subdivisions spreading out toward the bypass. Each era brings its own surprises once the walls are open.
Most of what we do in Kalispell is remodeling rather than new construction: kitchens and bathrooms that have never been touched, additions for growing families, garage conversions, and basements being finished into real living space. It's fifteen minutes from Whitefish, so we're down there constantly and can get back quickly if something needs attention after the job.
What we see most here
Houses built before the seventies routinely turn up undersized wiring, cast iron drains, or no insulation in exterior walls. We open things up, show you what's actually there, and price the fix before we keep going.
The bulk of our Kalispell work. Layouts in older homes are often chopped into small rooms — opening them up usually matters more than the finishes do.
Cheap square footage if the moisture and egress work is done right. Common ask in Kalispell's older housing stock, where basements are already there and unfinished.
In-town lots leave less room to build outward. We work through setbacks with the city before you get attached to a plan that won't fit.
